The Short Story (Poetry)

Google.com

A photo
                    the story,
A note
                    the glory,
A rejection
                    so sorry!

                                                A date
                                                            that cooks
                                                                        romance,
                                                A hint
                                                            that books
                                                                        assurance.

                    Pluck
                                    a kiss,
                    Confess
                                    it's love in sight,
                    Confidence
                                    sets the fire white!

  1. I notice the first thing I thought was "Love it." As has so many others, nevertheless, I love it.

  7. Nice piece and all steps that we take in life; falling in love for the first time; sending notes to our secret crush and then being rejected.
Later when we've matured a bit and are ready to try again, we being to date and slowly we really do fall in love and learn the difference between crushes and actual love.
Finally, we get our first kiss from the one we love and we learn the difference between hitting the one we like (childhoon); sending notes and light flirting (our youth) and then we experience the white hot passion of an adult in love. All steps we have to take though they may be painful.
This may not have been what you meant the reader to get out of it, but that's what came into my head as I read it.
Thanks so much for sharing with us; have a blessed day!
